Dr. Bevil married his high school sweetheart, Shelley Doran, in June 1991. They have three boys, Josh - 14, Christian - 11, and Aaron - 7, all are heavily into sports and scouts. For the past 15 years, Dr. Bevil has been on the February mission trip of BMI (Benevolent Missions International) where he over saw the clinic. He is an active member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano, where he stays active in teaching and missions. In his spare time Dr. Bevil enjoys softball, basketball, golf and triathlons.
